Congratulations to our customer Jungheinrich AG for winning the eLearning AWARD 2025 category “Virtual Learning World”. With this innovative project, Jungheinrich and 3spin Learning are setting new standards in training, from safety culture to soft skills.
Darmstadt, December 2024
Safety standards and training must keep pace in an increasingly complex and dynamic working environment. Leading global provider of intralogistics Jungheinrich acknowledged that traditional training methods have its limits when preparing service technicians for safety-critical situations practically and sustainably.
They therefore developed an immersive VR training program for service technicians that realistically demonstrates the dangers and safe handling in virtual warehouses and allows them to practice without risk and regardless of location.
Why is VR training unique?
- Real-world safety powered by immersive technology: VR training ensures safety-critical learning scenarios are practiced under realistic conditions. Technicians can recognize and evaluate hazards and practice their actions without endangering their safety or that of others.
- Introducing gamification for more motivation and engagement: Playful elements such as point systems, quiz formats, and interactive tasks promote the learning process and increase the participants' motivation.
- Customer focus: Participants learn to identify needs-based solutions and products in the spirit of customer centricity and to communicate these to their customers.
- Flexibility and scalability with 3spin Learning: With our 3spin Learning No Code platform, Jungheinrich designs and manages training modules flexibly and independently. Content can be rolled out worldwide and continuously adapted to local requirements without programming knowledge.
Industry Role Mode
The eLearning AWARD 2025 jury highlighted the project's combination of technical innovation, practical security, and efficient scalability. It impressively demonstrates how immersive technologies can revolutionize traditional training approaches and improve safety and service quality at the same time.
Jungheinrich intends to further expand VR training, including soft skills training – an area that is becoming increasingly important in the industry. Studies show that soft skills not only improve cooperation, but can also significantly reduce accident rates.
A Partnership Towards The Future Of Learning
Winning the eLearning AWARD 2025 proves Jungheinrich's innovative strength and the performance of the 3spin Learning Platform. By working together, we have created a solution that not only sets standards in training, but also shows how immersive learning can sustainably improve safety culture and efficiency in companies.
We are proud to be part of this project and look forward to continuing our collaboration with Jungheinrich and shaping the future of learning together.
